LilyMills,strange you should bring that subject up now as I am reading a book by Billy Graham about the Book of Revelation. He talks about the four horseman-the black rider brings, earthquakes, famine, pestilences,starvation. Well guess what-we have starvation already. In many parts of Africa, if you have clean water and shoes, you are considered rich. Of course we all can not be missionaries in Africa, but he points out we have small children starving right here. Since you asked, I plan on doing some extensive DD to learn where those in the most need are and help-right here in my home state. Some personal advice-do not just write a check to the most well-known charities, i,e., Goodwill Industries-they are a rip-off. Google and learn who does what and how much actually reaches those in need and how much goes in the CEO pocket. JMO
