Jcr53, I agree having a lot of ideas is great, but right now we do not have the band width to execute all of those ideas. We need to focus on the products that actually make money and we need to be the best in the world at producing those products. Take Apple for Example:

When Apple first became publically traded in 1980, it was worth approximately $100 million under the leadership of the late great Steve Jobs, who left Apple in 1985. When he came back to apple in 1997, Apple was on the brink of bankruptcy!!! He faced the task of restructuring and he did this by focusing on the winners. His first order of business: to drop costly projects and streamline the company's focus. (Five Guys is successful, and they do Hamburgers and Dogs / McDonalds sacrificed quality and their menu is huge... I would rather have a Five Guys Burger)

His first order of business: to drop costly projects and streamline the company's focus.

And he did just that with the release of the 1998 iMac. The product sold nearly 800,000 units in the first few months, signaling a major turning point for the company.

(That is why Apple quit making printers, they were spending all this money promoting a product they couldn't sell!!!!)

Bruce Lee said something like the road to perfection leads towards simplicity.

RMHB is small. I hope they do all these great things in the future, but right now I want to see our drinks in retail. I am probably in the minority here. I get that. But right now I see things like "Sweet Rock" as a major distraction. It should be all hands on deck getting Rocky Mountain High Energy drinks on shelves in America.

Like you said management is a huge challenge. I am do not work there so I do not know exactly what there scheme of maneuver is just an outsider looking in.

In the Marine Corps we try to follow the rule of 3 to the maximum extent possible. A platoon is made up of three squads, The platoon leader has three squad leaders under him. The squads are made up of three fire teams, each fire team leader reports to their squad leader. Finally the fire team leader has guess what, three Marines that report to him.

It works in the Marines and it works in Management. If you give someone more than three things to manage things start to get missed. I am just not sure if RMHB has the man power to execute all their ideas AT THIS TIME. When we get bigger, we can hirer more people and do more things.
