This is a unique situation of a company rising from the ashes(without a great track record (by PREVIOUS management) and reinventing itself into something way different than just a small biotech company.
We had a CC with a somewhat unclear message about a mechanism for shares becoming available which could hit the market. Shortly thereafter the PPS starts going down or not acting normally. On 8/8, we get late posted large block of shares showing up AH below the closing price. There are PR's put out about completing acquisitions which did not provide much lift to the PPS prior to this. We then have a price dip temporarily below $2 and a PR on Friday 8/9 about pending positive news on Monday. The PPS recovers. The PR comes out and while modestly positive, a ceiling is put in the price can't break through. We have the large blocks of shares traded every day being posted AH away from the closing price. More PR's are put out with limited effect.
We have price action where there is seemingly an endless supply of shares above and sudden price drops to a level that compromises the uplisting. The company defends that price level with a PR reinforcing the plan is on track. The PPS recovers. What all of this means I don't know. Neither does the person who is the most knowledgeable about GNBT, at least as far as the late posted trades. If it happens again, there is less of a chance a rehashed PR will have a positive effect. Better have some new information ready. I am not being negative, more just reviewing this craziness. This probably can't have happened without a seller, buyer, a broker or two and at least one market maker being involved.
