After reading through this, it is clear that during May/June Nader and the board had some serious conflict with dr Pestell. That is not in this because it is cytodyn part of the story. This is all dr Pestell side and is purely calling out the actions and freeze out of dr Pestell after what ever happened in May and June. I seems the abrupt comments by N a der to file the colon cancer ind now and that he will not wait another day shows there was a high level of frustration by Nader over these things not getting done. The $71k owed to the lab is also a little elusive as to what it is for and when that bill got racked up. Could be prostegene owed it and cytodyn inherited it. I seems to me the cancer indications would move forward if dr Pestell could raise the funds to pay for it. It was presented to us that these trials would be cheap and quick so I don’t understand how they got put on hold. I also sounds like dr Pestell was working at a pace of doing it right and Nader was pressuring to just get it done now. It is really unfortunate that while we were wondering what is going on, this was what was going on. Also the 4 to 3 vote for firing home is not good, shows me that there was some concern of how damaging this would be and if it was nessesary.
I am very depressed that as we sit through this with our hard earned investment, this drug proving itself beyond expectations, Nader and dr Pestell were in a dumb pissing match. What a waste of time, an erosion of trust and showing of unprofessionalism. Seems to me the banks and pharma industry see value in this drug, the mgmt of this company seems to be talking out of both sides of their mouth. Nader for the first 2 quarters stuck to his “any day now” for the tnbc even though it was going nowhere and the prognostic test that was to be licensed being held back really boil my blood. I don’t know who to believe but we all were really confused as to how such a respected dr could be fired within months of this deal, now we are left with the same question. At this point in the drug’s development we really do not need this.
