The podcast was a lot more positive than negative. They've gotten the regulatory go-ahead from COFEPRIS and it's on to actual manufacturing (and revenue generation). That's the big news. Other positive takeaways include: 1) increasing potential in the Mexican market, including new offerings possibly; and 2) possibly introducing the 'Mexican' products into the US.
Michael, Christian, Jens and Oscar were all silent about other opportunities we've been hoping to hear about, like government water contracts and further expansion overseas. They've clearly decided not to share possibilities, only done deals, which I do understand. But that's doesn't staunch my curiosity.
All in all, a good report. And a good day. If we're at $1.5M revenue in the current quarter (ending Sept. 30), I think we can expect that number to at least triple in the final quarter of the year, which would put us on the path to be at $18M plus for 2020. In other words, a legitimate midsized company and a for-real player in the global CBD industry.
