In addition to "Ignore Poster" there is an additional link you can use to block someone who sends you abusive PMs.
To block PMs or ignore a poster, click on his name, which takes you to his personal page. Here's an example -- you'll have to block each of his identities separatetly:

then if you look under the avatar, there's a link for "block messages." He won't be able to PM you his slime any more. You can also click the link to "Ignore Poster" which will make his public posts not appear to you when you look at the main message board.
