Correct, you never see BWers post a link to back up their "facts". When challenged they just pivot to some other baseless thing. As you say their "facts" which they present as such, are just opinions, and are often based on lies. In fact I've seen them post things such as "Rory is resigning tomorrow", also I happened to glance at the other place right before the earnings call and they posted as fact that the earnings call had been canceled at the very last minute, implying something horrible had happened. This was right after 4 PM and before the earnings got published.
Also as you say, it defies logic that someone who claims to be invested in the stock would bash it 100% of the time. That makes absolutely no sense. The infamous one holding up the sign in his rented/"borrowed" fancy car is a prime example, I've seen him post as "facts" allegedly inside knowledge he has that Rory is resigning soon, that the Sound Concepts folks are extremely angry and unhappy with him, etc. etc. All of this is clearly made up lies but presented as "facts" and inside knowledge allegedly talking to someone on the inside.Yeah right who's going to talk to that idiot who likes to sit in borrowed cars and hold up silly signs?
Well, everyone here should do their part in supporting this board as I personally have learned a lot from it and from Red, Maui, NT, and everyone else (if I try to list everyone I know I will leave someone out). At least thumb up posts, as I do, and I try and post when I have time and think I maybe have something interesting to say, which people can either read or not read as they choose.
We have to continue making this board the only place where the real facts are presented, and where bashing with baseless opinions and speculations based on lies is not allowed and those posts are quickly cleaned up by the admins.
