Stopping metastasis is just one of the reaction.
We talking /posting often here what we know by now Leronlimab does...
So lets do it one more time...: How CCR5 and Leronlimab affecting cancers ...
And with cancers it is always better for patients to have early disease , but we believe that Leronlimab is working at any stage , as an example of man with metastatic colon cancer reduced significantly after 2 months on Maraviroc......not only preventing new metastasis !!!!!!!
Those are some points of actions we know by now ...:
!.) CCR5 makes cancer cells metastasize .
A...... by calcium channel signalling on CCR5 on cancer cells , which is important to produce metastasis .
B.......CCR5% makes cancer cells cluster together , and becoming more aggressive ...
C......once cancer cells enter to bloodstream , thus becoming CTC , CCR5 guides them to most dangerous organs , brain , liver , lungs , bone etc...
Leronlimab is blocking those actions of CCR5 .....
2. ) CCR5 activate DNA mechanism..
Cancer cells repairing itself after chemotherapy much faster , and becoming resistant to treatment.
Leronlimab is blocking that.
3.) CCR5 affecting anti-tumor response
A.....with CCR5 inhibitors there is polarization of macrophages , process by which macrophages adopt different functional programs , thus helping with tumors necrosis..
B.....From Dr Patterson we also know that CCR5 is expressed on the population of immune cells called T regulatory cells which inhibits response to cancers .
4.) Recently from Dr Lindner pre-clinical study with mColon cancer , we know that Leronlimab inhibits angiogenesis ..those affecting all tumors in the body , old and new .
5.) CCR5 promotes cancer recurrence , through macrophages recruitment in residual tumors.
6 .) ..Blocking CCR5 also reduces collagen deposition which inhibits tumor growth , metastasizing and drop tumor cells defenses ...
So as we see , there are many different ways Leronlimab is affecting cancers .
