I completely agree. I also believe it will help stage 1/2, but look at these numbers, stage 1 doesn’t need much help, except lung and kidney, maybe why BMS was doing kidney. So it would probably benefit, in my opinion, earlier stages.

1). But earlier would take years, as you say, it makes more sense to spend money if you results you think you can get soon
2) They are using CTCs, that is RP and MCs work together on, that is new technology which will allow us to measure the results much faster.
For CTCs, we are talking mestasisis, the earlier you catch it, the better. So for the absolutely best results you get it right at diagnosis, naive patients with positive CTCs and CCR5+, I understand the thinking, why they designed the trial that way, to give this technology the best chance for success. Stage 3, the technology is gone and MC wouldn’t be interested. It may take some time to enroll, I’m not sure when the big sites come online, but it has a great chance to be proven very quickly once they can find the patients.
