Takeover or Investment??
I don't want to give incorrect or leading misinformation but, so let me partially retract my statements.
I am not in contact with anyone from Cytodyn and have never spoken to their board members. So I do not know their position. Though...
I do know someone in a larger pharmaceutical company which is well versed in the world of HIV, who said that there was a *strong* emphasis in talks with a biotech company with allegedly solid clinical trial results.
According to the person I know, the meeting is to take place in the end of August, the day following an FDA meeting with the company.
From my understanding, the intention is not necessarily a Takeover (which is possible), but more than likely just an investment, prior to fda approval, and if all is successful with rollout and marketing, then potentially buyout prior to monotherapy. So take with this what you will, but there will either be a major investment or complete control week of the fda meeting.
