JB I'm a big Quarter horse guy myself but I remember that race the excitement of that day as if it were today..... we have been lucky enough to have a couple of Quarter horses that have been amazing Howies Star (Stallion), Gay Doc's Last, Classy Shines, Dandy's Smurfette.
Dandy took my daughter to the National Finals High School Rodeo, we raised her an lost her a couple years ago…. Classy Shine ended up in Texas not sure if she is still living or not... but the others are dead.
My Grand Daughters are Rodeoing now an have a good future doing it if they stay with it...
I don't take the time to mess with the horses anymore, but My Grand babies told me I was going to take time now they needed a little help, so I guess that I will start helping them...
