Pressure BioSciences Inc. PBIO’s BaroFold technology platform offers a unique and cost-effective way to address the complex and often challenging process of manufacturing the recombinant proteins that are required in the development of protein-based drugs. Two of the major challenges associated with manufacturing recombinant proteins are (1) the formation of aggregates and (2) protein misfolding. These are significant issues that can prevent a protein drug candidate from ever making it to market.
