Fished for 1000 at $2.25 yesterday sometime after

Fished for 1000 at $2.25 yesterday sometime after 1.00 pm while it was trading at a 2.23-2.28 spread thereabout. As is their custom, they used my bid as a basis for upping their bid to 2.26 or 2.27. Went to the 30s, and returned to late 20s, but they just used my order as cushion. I do better when I break into smaller units, but come on. Commissions add up. I pulled my GTC order. Just timing it right now and may do what has worked most times for me: Bid for All or None at one penny above the Ask price when (if) price drops to my comfort. Will see.
