NEWPORT BEACH, CA, January 14, 2019: Tri Cascade, Inc. successfully unveiled its newly-developed i.VA (intelligent voice assistant) to its line of NB (narrowband) IoT (Internet of Things) smart home hardware at CES 2019. This deployment brings ease-of-
use and transferability to smart home technology.
"i.VA will change the way that smart homes operate," said Max Li, CEO of Tri Cascade. "Currently, voice assistants only work with certain aspects of smart home operation because they're not actually developed to be central operating hubs. i.VA is that hub. It is hardwired into your smart home, providing access to all your home's smart capabilities while also raising the value of your home."
i.VA integrates camera, sensor, and voice features to streamline and simplify the smart home experience. Essentially, i.VA bridges the gap between a home outfitted with smart devices and a fully-realized smart home. A voice-activated smart home outfitted with the i.VA system will be capable of controlling both the home's climate and lighting, as well as whether smart outlets should be supplied with power, all with the homeowner's natural voice. Users will also be able to play music throughout the home, operate entertainment systems, open and close garage doors, download updates and new features for smart devices, and inquire about weather, traffic, news, and other information desired. The system also functions as an intercom and security device that alerts you to any unusual activity when you're away from your home. i.VA is an essential component of the future Smart Home and of TriCascade’s Smart City initiative. Rolling out this year, the Smart City will be powered by Tri Cascade smart infrastructure coupled with a leading telecom's NB (narrowband) IoT Network, providing the framework for the fully-connected cities of the future.
"We're truly excited to have so many great partners moving forward with this project," said Max Li, CEO of Tri Cascade. "Our relationship with a major American telecom has
been incredibly helpful in the rollout of our inaugural Smart City plan, while Auxilium and Photon have all been vital to the success and technological development of the project." Tri Cascade has partnered with Auxilium and Photon to bring their vision to fruition. Auxilium builds long-lasting batteries that can handle the storage and transfer of energy between customers, while Photon creates some of the most advanced photovoltaic cells available on the market. Together through these partnerships, Tri Cascade is helping to map out the landscape for the future of smart homes and smart communities.
