Not sure why people think there should be volume?

Not sure why people think there should be volume? If we are all holding our shares, we are not selling and creating volume. Everyone else may have their shares and holding too. It will take someone that "wants" to be in badly to create some good volume and entice those that don't want to sell, to actually sell.
