I like that cute little gator grin sported by Chance the Snapper. A nice fluffy little critter like that deserves a good home in a gator sanctuary. And I bet the food in the sanctuary will be tastier and a lot more nutritious than the five and six year old rug rats he had been forced to dine on while living in the park. LOL
Seriously though, I think you missed a golden opportunity to enhance the lives of two of God's critters, both you and Chance. Just think of the great times you could have had taking Chance for walk each day while he was wearing a nice sweater knitted by your loving hands. And just think of the smiles that you would have brought to peoples faces as they pointed and yelled to others, "Here comes Bhawks and his swamp lizard.". Alas, an opportunity was lost that will never come again. I sob for the Windy City's loss.

My guess is that someone got Chance when he was 12 to 14 inches and he finally grew into being a big problem.
