Thought I'd share a little story.
Went to the Cards Pirates game last night. Sat in some most excellent seats, row 4.
We had rain here all day , Hurricane Barry petering out in the Lou.
The Voice star , 14 year old Kennedy Holmes, to sing the National Anthem.
Since my wife is a big fan of The Voice , I was somewhat familiar with this St. Louis born talent.
Long story short, this was the best rendition I have ever heard , brought tears to the old shadestorm eyes, she gets a yyuge standing O.
Kennedy was on the big screen and her personality shined through, she was appreciative to perform and happy to be there.
AWESOME.
Cardinals won, it quit raining on us around the fifth, the rookie Tyler O'Neal hit two dingers and could be the spark the Cards need to knock the Hawksters Cubs out of first.
More rain today.
