A tree story.
Upon my 1st autumn in Manhattan Beach Ca (2 years)
i found brown and red leaves falling all across my yard.
Not Palm trees - they were of course Maples,
brought there when people moved from the Midwest.
So I raked the yard into a pile of leaves
for my girlfriend and I to jump into.
I was still young then 1971.
