Interestingly enough after reading several cases the district and federal court seem to be quite happy awarding wrongdoers and their law firms more than they deserve. Alice may be the problem but our legal system has no problem expanding on facts of the case (as they see them) to create more grief for the plaintiff. As cases get reversed it's obvious to me that more time and money has been wasted litigating patents than truly necessary. It amazes me to see our upper tiered legal system make so many bad decisions and leave plaintiffs asking themselves "What just happened?" after litigation. Let's hope Congress can put an end to at least part of what is bringing this country down and protect innovation that has legally acquired the credentials it needs to do good business. JMHO
