Remember VERB was going to lease 4,900 square feet of space
Remember their current corporate headquarters is approximately 2,800 square feet so the 4,900 was a significant increase
But in May, Rory said they got the whole floor and it's about 8,200 square feet
Did they get some extra free space or bumped up the lease?
Well, not exactly bumping
I'd call it super sizing
A whooping 68% increase from what they thought they needed in March
Now why in the hell would they nearly double the space they needed?
What happened in Q2 that they needed to add more space?
The office is the whole floor in the building you see with the white roof here.
Going from 1/2 the floor to the whole floor?
From the filings:
"The Company currently anticipates that the Lease will commence in July 2019."
So maybe they move this week, next week, but likely this month sometime if there wasn't any delays with the build out.
Going to be exciting to see the 3 VERB signs on the building. It's a pretty area as you can see from the photos below.
Also was great to hear this again:
