Again, people need to read the press release over and understand what it means. The new joint venture WILL manufacture CBD infused edibles just as soon as the green light is given by the FDA, but the hemp seed extract infused versions can go into production immediately.
It would be foolhardy to not complete all of the steps required to form the joint venture, months worth of work actually, and be in place and fully established prior to that green light on CBD infused edibles from the FDA.
They can produce and market the hemp seed extract infused products to the same well established customer base, and when CBD infused edibles are approved they simply flip the switch and start to infuse the products with CBD instead. Smart business.
Again, it takes months to get all of the i's dotted and the t's crossed with the forming of a new company, so why the hell would you wait? Especially when there are revenues to be made from both types of edibles! The ONLY thing that was forward looking was the use of "CBD infused" in the first press release. The press release itself was NOT premature.
