My problem is there are so many interesting Israeli stocks that I've run out of dry powder to invest. Hopefully in the not to distant future I book a profit that's substantial enough to bring in some dry powder, though I want to keep enough of the winners to let them continue to run. I've also doubled up on some stocks with the intent of taking the losses on the higher prices, while holding my core position. I'm not rushing to sell in the hope that I get at least a small rally in the stock prices once I'm 31 days or more from when I doubled up.
As an American, I'm embarrassed by our prudish attitude about things like placental stem cells, cannabis, etc. Our actions have prevented American science from advancing, while places like Israel supports research, even if something isn't legal until proof of benefits are demonstrated through clinical trials.
As I understand it, cannabis can be broken down to something over 200 components, most of the research has been in CBD and THC, but I suspect in Israel they're looking at virtually all of them. My American Doctor's openly admit that cannabis may offer benefits, but they won't write scrips, or recommend what formulations to purchase. I'll admit trying certain products, but I felt nothing probably because they were just not very strong, especially on the THC levels. I hesitate to take too much along with all the other meds I'm on after leukemia, and the two recent surgeries. I just learned in need to have a Mohs surgery soon, but it should be minor in nature.
As we grow older, it's amazing how much of our conversations revolve around all the treatment we're all receiving rather routinely. 25 or so years ago what's minor today would have potentially been deadly.
