RANDOLPH, N.H. (AP) — Investigators pleaded Saturday
for members of the public to come forward with information that could help them determine why a pickup truck hauling a trailer collided with a group of 10 motorcycles on a rural highway, killing seven bikers
"I'm a officer on my local volunteer fire department and rescue squad. I've looked at many pictures of this accident scene and what is obvious to me is the pick up truck crossed the center line and plowed head on into the motor cycles. Now I'm willing to bet on the floor board of that pick up truck there is a smart phone that was in the process of sending or receiving a text or a call. They need to start treating distracted driving just as severely as drunk driving."
