I believe before recent events that he was working on something to get longs out of the pps hole many are in- dont know what- but something- pure logic can make some guesses- like a JV w Bao as you mentioned - and as mentioned by the Apr 13 PR re a beneficiation plant for example-which wouldnt surprise me at all -
Bao would buy mine outright if Bob was amenable and they will take the next best thing-whatever Bob is willing to allow-they've spent a lot of time in dd and watching over progress already-wonder if they are done testing the ore -remember all the test bags of iron Zhao -the Pres of Bao Brazil etc was personally watching over as they drilled-should be done testing and maybe crunching figures and deciding about further drilling.
pennies will survive for a while but they are targeting companies without financials and or below 1c pps.
OTCBB stocks -even fraudulent ones I'm aware of- have a great deal of insulation. And 2 years ago they started the OTCQX- It had as few as 25 companies when it 1st started -now has probably 300 companies-its disclosure standards are similar to the big boards but without the costs and waiting periods and w much smaller quantitative standards (much less revenue and market cap etc required)
pps requirement for OTCQX is only 10c and as I've mentioned before it includes many foreign blue chips plus walmart of Mexico and Adidas. So they are targeting what I mentioned 1st but if we get out of the current class and have filed financials as I've (and others,including yourself) have pushed for we will be ok.
Also political motivations are usually tempered the closer we get to elections as the powers that be dont want to rock too many boats at that time. The Fed, politically motivated, usually steps in in an election year to help the economy also- although its a roller coaster ride, in last couple days members of the fed that were opposed to QE3 have softened their position in concert w European efforts to bolster economy- which is a major reason stocks have risen last 2 days as people look forward to fed pumping more liquidity at their June 19 meeting.
Fed has pumped ca 2.4 trillion in last few years but in a self defeating move allowed the banks to park those funds w the feds and earn interest off them -so those funds arent driving the economic multiplier.
