I get it: Silence is unsettling. The murmurings I get from management are quite reassuring. I am hopeful that things will get sorted out this month. Personally, I attribute management's silence to MW's sensitivity (some might say hyper-sensitivity) about having his words turned against him. He is fed up with his words being twisted (exploited by bashers, you might say) and has opted instead for silence. If I were in his place, I'd probably be more forthcoming. And, that said, I do understand that "soon! soon!" gets old after a while. Boy crying wolf etc. So maybe he's right about staying silent until there is solid news to report.
