While reading a paper on gut microbiome and autism it made me wonder if autism might be induced by neuronal inflammation. From the Parkinson's paper we know RANTES aids in neuronal inflammation and leronlimab can block RANTES.
I found out that neuronal inflammation is a characteristic of autism and CCR5 is overexpressed in those with autism. From earlier research I did it would seem that leronlimab can cross the brain blood barrier. It's possible that leronlimab may aid in autism.
