Finally I got to listen to the LD presentation. I’m very surprised at the negative reactions from the iHub board. I thought there was a lot there. Nothing brand new but more color into what conversations are happening behind the scenes. Specially, I thought the additional color into Samsung Bio and Gilead discussions were interesting. The excitement that Samsung is showing in the company is compelling. Also We have all asked the question about why they haven’t been BO by GILD yet and that was a very interesting response. It makes sense, GILD knows how hard it is to disrupt an existing supply chain framework and are being cautious. I for one have probably underestimated how difficult that might be. GILD can’t afford another embarrassing situation where they over spend for a drug and fail to effectively monetize.
Anyways, I was excited about what I heard. NP was on his A game and is finally starting to sound like a more seasoned CEO. Even though he got carried away a couple times in his excitement. I can’t wait to hear about the conversion rate from the TO. I’ve heard speculation that they are expecting 70-80% conversion, which after fees would be $30mm or more. That would be in my mind an exceptional response from the most connected portion of the investor base. Personally I’m happy with anything over $20mm.
