I know it will work like a dream..  I used to work for Ma Bell back in the day and we buried cable all over Wis. On cables of about three inches in diameter or better, it originally took  a D9 hitched to a D8 to pull a 40' deep static plow through most terrain. When they came out with the vibrator plow a single D6 Cat dozer could do the same job..
