Yesterday I spend late afternoon and evening with many physicians ,
my first cousin , who made this party is a 56 years old , practicing surgeon.
I met most of those doctors in the past so atmosphere was very relaxed .
I asked and no one knew what functional cure mean in HIV, since this is not really a cure.
One thing , no infectious diseases specialist was there...
But after talking we all decided that some name is needed for patients who are with suppressed VL , suppressed for few months or even for couple of years ...after treatment is stopped .
So this name maybe as good as other ...
