Gottlieb pushed out of FDA for trying to control vaping (so tobacco industry hated him). "Spend more time with [his] family" -- the usual reason people give when they're fired.

Now he's back working for a biotech venture capital firm.... in D.C. area. The people's loss -- this company's gain.
