I know NYC pretty well. Like I said, Koreatown does not and cannot have 1500 locations for selling RMHB product. Don't believe me? Here are some tidbits from Wikipedia about Koreatown.
From 2000 to 2010, the Korean population of Manhattan (co-extensive with New York County) nearly doubled, to about 20,000, according to the 2010 United States Census.[3]
My comment: Population of 20,000 and 1,500 outlets? I don't think so.
The heart of Koreatown is the segment of West 32nd Street between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue, officially nicknamed Korea Way. Korea Way features stores and restaurants on multiple stories, with independently run establishments reaching up to higher floors, exuding an ambience of Seoul itself.[6][2][7] The New York City Korean Chamber of Commerce estimates there to be more than 100 small businesses on Korea Way.[8]
My comment: If there are 100 small businesses on the main drag, what do we want to do, add another 100 for the rest of Koreatown? That's less than 1/7th of the 1500 businesses, small and otherwise, that are alleged to be targets for RMHB product sales. Uh. No.
I don't know what happened here, and I don't know what will happen, either. Maybe it's real, maybe it's not. Maybe that 1,500 number refers to non-Koreatown outlets; that's entirely possible. What I do know is that relative to the other things in the works (CBD life, Green Lotus, national distribution) it is small potatoes. Which is why I said I don't care much about this particular deal one way or the other.
