Not everyone developing chronic GvHD , not even everyone developing acute GvHD , they trying to match very well.,
and patients are on low dose of immunosuppressant .
Also older patients usually have less of the problem then young ...their immune system is not that strong.

My mother sister 85 years old now , also a physician , had kidney transplant 5 years ago . I am very close with her , I know all her treatment ...
She is on very low dose of immunosuppressant since her transplant.
Most of the time to prevent chronic problems patients are forever on very low dose of immunesuppressant ...
But they may not need Leronlimab except with more severe situation ....

Leronlimab is new , indication might change thou ...
A lot depends how close is a match.
Maybe with time having Leronlimab and difficult time to find perfect match , they can use less perfect and keep Leronlimab forever , those are things hard to predict in medicine.
