I admire your passion , my Friend but rules of engagement in this situation are in place and there is nothing we can do .
I didn't create them but lawyers did
Phase 1 trials are designated to establish efficacy of the drug and MTD( maximum tolerated dose).
Patients accrue for those trials have different cancers and had failed first, second and or third lines of treatment
No other therapies are available for them
This is their last chance !!!!!
And the journey begins and drug is being followed through phase 2 ( confirm efficacy and document potential side effects)and eventually phase 3 trials ( compere new drug efficacy with present standard of practice)
Just like I said , it is a long and expensive journey.
