Like I said, I get and appreciate what you are doi

As a software developer I want my products to stand on their own based on their merit, quality, usefulness, etc.
As a consumer if I'm 'duped' into believing, via a pyramid type marketing scheme (just how I see it), that there is ' a lot of buzz ' about a company or product I'm less inclined to be a repeat customer and also a promoter to friends, colleagues and family. (Especially if it that company or product doesn't live up to the hype.)
I think marketing has always been an issue with SFT and they obviously (based on historical sales) have not had a successful program.
Imho they (SFT/BSafe) should GIVE away a bunch of copies for free at colleges and let the market grow organically. Also, add to the products; since the user doesn't really know if they are doing what they say they do (you really don't know if you have a keylogger on your system), they should have value added in the form of say a weekly or monthly email or text that says "GUARDED DID NOT DETECT ANY MALICIOUS ACTIVITY" or a monthly report. It makes you feel like you got something for your money.
RETENTION and repeat sales are the key.
Give it away for free for a 3 or 6 month trial and the youth are going to be the ones to get the word out. Get them hooked on it first. They will tell mom and pop and grandma and brother and sister and cousins and friends etc. That is today's marketing (oh and as well as YouTube, you cannot deny the power that has yet to yield).
Good luck to you and all the ambassadors but I think you may need another strategy for longevity and future position in the market.
