After pouring dough into this project for half a decade due to the outstanding science I have never been more excited. IPIX may be on its way to leap frog over Brilacidin for Oral Mucositis and jump right to the prize...Inflammatory Bowel Disease.Ladies and Gentlemen we could have 2 simultaneous FDA trials for Brilacidin with adequate funding.
IBD is extremely common. It affects millions. It is personal for me as I have had several close relatives and friends suffer from IBD chronically for years. The current treatments are expensive, dangerous with severe complications, and frequently just work poorly. A good friend of mine has had tried every known treatment for UC and at 45 has been recommended by his gastroenterologist to have a total colectomy. Of course this means an ileostomy bag attached to his side the rest of his life. If you do not know what that means look it up.
As Mo outlined we have good science, experienced management and now we have the hope of having adequate funding.
You might say, well its only a term sheet; but go back and review the results of the Brilacidin for Ulcerative Proctitis trial. Look at the pictures. IMO no one has results like this for any form of IBD. Then add Brilacidin's proven safety from the ABSSSI trial and IMO you have the potential for an absolute winner...for patients and shareholders. Then look at the current treatments...IMO IPIX has the potential to be a slam dunk .
Obviously there is risk ,and risk of failure is always present in clinical trials.
We all have the option of paying 32 cents a share of IPIX for what IMO has the potential to be a breakthrough, once in a life time therapy. We all have to make our own investment decisions and I can not help other individuals make those decisions. But, I have made mine and bought more today.
Best of luck to the longs, Farrell
