One is doing really well. Unlike most tech companies at this stage, Zoom is profitable.
They are in a very crowded market place and not even the leader. Microsoft and Cisco are but are investors running to the hills because Zoom is not the leader? Far from it.
In the fiscal year that ended Jan. 31, Zoom had a net income of $7.6 million on $330.5 million in revenue, according to a regulatory filing. Revenue was up 118 percent from the prior year.
ZOOM:
Market Cap: $20B
Net Revenue: $330,500,000
Net Income: $7,600,000
Net Income/Revenue: 2%
MC = 60 times revenue
VERB
Market Cap: $37M
Net Revenue: $12,734,000
Net Income: $398,000
Net Income/Revenue: 3%
MC = 3 times revenue
Look at these numbers closely. Look through the S-1/A at the other numbers. I'd recommend reading the Quarterly Wed. evening.
Do your own math and DD. There are no public companies I know of doing what VERB is doing, so there are no direct comparisons like there are for Uber, Lyft, Pinterest, Zoom, etc.
