I have been giving a little thought as to why Doctor Dalton might be awarded by IFAH. Several ideas come to mind, but I suspect this could be the reason. IMO
IFAH (formerly Smart Health Conference) Las Vegas begins on 18th June 2019. IFAH is the International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare.
”We firmly believe that the healthcare industry can benefit immensely, by bringing like-minded people on a common platform. We see ourselves as mere facilitators in that process, committed to doing our bit for an industry that we have learned and gained so much from.”
“Our promise is to enable healthcare professionals from across the world, to come together, deliberate and work on improving the impact healthcare has on today’s world.”
Making the Current Generation Aware of the New-age Change in Health and Technology
Significant progress in the field of advanced healthcare is subject to how broad is your spectrum of technologies, whether for computing genetics, brain technology, or study of new materials, energy, transportation and environmental tools and systems. It is clear that we need to follow a completely different healthcare approach to fulfill the health demands of the 21st century. We shouldn’t be wasting our resources defending 20th century systems and focus on the construction of new and radically different 21st century services.
Putting patients and individuals suffering themselves as the center of the new-age healthcare means putting them into the driver’s seat and helping them get accustomed to the radical changes around them, in an efficient manner. To harness this potential in every other household, there is a need to present the norms for future healthcare management on a different platform altogether. Also, it is necessary to raise awareness about the same via an open conference elaborating on the various new-day technologies, and the latest technological innovations and medical advances that have been synthesized in the 21st century.
IFAH 2019 is the year’s most awaited healthcare management conference focusing on the latest innovations.

One possibility for Doctor Dalton being awarded the IFAH award is Telehealth. IMO
Telehealth applications are an emerging technology in a new era of health care system technologies. Many advancements have been made in recent years in telemedicine technologies including mobile stroke units, wireless wearable sensors, leadless pacemakers, and wound scanning devices. The World Health Organization (WHO) defined telemedicine as “delivering health care services from a distance by interactive, visual, and data communications for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease and injuries.”
I suggest Telehealth as the reason for the IFAH award because Doctor Dalton is deeply involved in this emerging industry.
