i just saw something about certain sunscreens-bc of ingredients -causing problems -maybe skin cancer- might have to go back to what older generations did-wear long shirts and pants-the younger generation has an odd obsession w bare skin- long shirts and pants keeps you cooler than exposed to the sun skin-and protects against bugs and scratches from plants etc while hiking etc
one of the biggest problems brewing is antibiotic resistance-partly due to ca 17 antibiotics used in cattle etc- leading to super bugs -bringing back old diseases once thought defeated like tb and the current measals outbreak-eventually leading to plagues-which will reduce life expectancy
not fun topics but if people take care of themselves and watch their antibiotics regimen(its pretty well known they are over prescribed) and otherwise follow healthy lifestyles they can avoid some of the carnage-in other words become informed consumers
i've seen reports of immigrants bringing diseases that otherwise dont exist in the general population and the lifespan of some border residents probably has fallen from the stress- a friend of a late friend lives/lived on the border with mexico and said they have people running thru their property every night
