I think I found the LEAK! There was a review of new accounts recently opened that purchased IPIX stock to find out how individuals heard about IPIX. The following was a phone interview with a new investor named Joe Schmoe. Joe got a call last week from his favorite aunt Ann Nominous. Ann is best friends with Anita Wigg who is married to Bill Wigg. Mr B. Wigg works at a multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical company BPX. Mr. B. Wigg evidently is big into T&A , urrr M&A, yeah that’s it. Mr. B. Wigg is a bad golfer and a worse drinker and was overheard on the 19th hole that he has been wrapping up a big deal that he has been working on for months that will generate Billions of dollars in annual revenue for BPX. He proudly stated that he personally never works on investments smaller than $50M and that anything smaller is pawned off to his underlings. He would not share the name of the little biotech he was finalizing negotiations with (you don’t get to Bill’s position without being really smart and discrete) but mentioned that it was very small (I think he mentioned it was 3 men and a baby?) and that they had a phase3 ready drug. He mentioned something about a new class of antibiotic with a multitude of uses. He also mentioned a cancer drug that was not part of the initial deal but could be a game changer in cancer treatment. Joe wrote copious notes from his call with Ann Nominous. Joe is a novice investor but a real wiz on the computer. As Joe started his computer search he typed in O-R-A-L and many of Joe’s favorite web sites popped up. Damn you google! But as he keyed in M-U-C-O-S-I-T-I-S his favorite sites went away and some other troubling pictures started popping up. Joe continued with key words including Beverly, MA, phase 3 ready antibiotic, cancer drug etc and sure enough Innovation Pharmaceuticals popped up. It was almost a 100% match less the baby. So Joe called his old Frat buddy John Willy who has made a lot of money as a broker and has lots of clients. John’s nickname in college was “Slick” but that’s a different story. So Joe told Slick Willy the entire story and made him promise not to tell anyone else. Joe only had $24,000 to invest but was able to buy IPIX at .12 last Tuesday and now has 200,000 shares. Joe is pretty sure Slick didn’t tell anyone else about IPIX so the past few day’s volume is still a mystery.
