I also bought the first 10mb HD for the Naval Supply System back in early 80's. I think it cost around $2000 and I had to buy a whole new IBM pc to house it in.
TRS 80, Floppy disk, Okidata Dot Matrix printer, 80 character card keypunch, mounted tape drives. "Networks" were the Tandem and Burroughs terminals connected to the mainframe. Wang vs Microsoft. Lotus 123.
Google search was the microfiche reader.
And all we get today is a smartphone!
What "memories" will the youngster have to remember when they are old????
