I know things are not looking rosy on the surface.. yes, lots of cricket from MGMT as usual..
I've been thinking and trying to make some sense of some occurred events .
Facts... Discovery is getting a boat of cheaps shares.. easily ~20MM just the last several months from monthly interest payment..
If they chose to dump these shares on the open market, just 2 to 3MM could easily tanked the PPS under a penny... selling
1MM shares = 20K
10MM shares= 200K
20MM shares= 400K (assuming all shares can be sold at 2 cents)
You might be thinking.. it's free shares for them..no big deal.. any money from selling those shares will be pure profits. that's all true..
Also, dumping those shares could kill the mother goose.. How are they going to get their 5MM back? Collateral? what Collateral? Discovery is not stupid to take a chance to get their money through BK court. pushing OWCP behind the 8 ball not going to benefit them..
So, they want OWCP to do well as much we do. I think Discovery is on the same boat as us..of course, they are in front of the boat and we are on the bottom deck.
I could see Discovery keeping a healthy % of those cheap shares.. I just don't see them dumping their shares for a few hundred thousand and risk killing the OWCP in the process.
Bruce already posted that the current loan with Discovery, they can owned up to 4.99% and with option to increase the %. I just don't know all the specific of the loan.

For those of you sold, good for you. Your have more discipline then me.
