If a MFG. wants to work thru channel partners or distributors (using their vast sales and resources) then they will protect the channel partners and distributors. They will not sell direct. Especially if they do not have the support or infrastructure in place to service the big client. I speak from experience. I do not sell directly to customers of my distributors and raw materials mfg. will not sell directly to me . I have to go thru the distributors.FYI
I think its more a security issue keeping things quiet at this point. Also, SFOR may not want the whole DUO scenario to happen again. Once bitten twice shy.
