USPTO patents are nearing patent grant! Patents 15629230, 15573687, and 15580718 received a NON-FINAL rejection letters and have been responded to by OWC. The rejection is to the point where it only contained minor updates to be made in order to obtain patent grants. This is absolutely true despite some trying to hide the fact that grants are on the way!!

Multiple Myeloma
For Multiple Myeloma patent 15580718, the examiner claims the patent infringes on Perez Simon’s patent. This is the last milestone to overcome. OWC argues that Simon’s MM treatment is solely a CBD agent, whereas OWC’s treatment is a combination of CBD+THC+CFZ.
Conclusion statement from OWC:
“Applicant believes the claims are in allowable condition. A notice of allowance for this application is solicited earnestly. If the Examiner is of the opinion that all claims currently pending or not allowable, Applicant’s counsel respectfully requests a telephone interview to resolve any outstanding issues and the Examiner is invited to call Applicant’s agent.”
Fibromyalgia
For the Fibromyalgia patent 15573687, the only patent claims that are pending are 88-108. And the only examiner remark is that the patent needs to form a single general inventive concept (one invention only). OWC has a group of inventions in this patent so there needs to be a technical relationship among these inventions for it to be acceptable. In other words, OWC is trying to keep their patent broad, but need to narrow it down to be accepted.
Skin Disorders
For the Skin Disorders patent 15629230, the only patent claims that are pending are 1-23. And the only examiner remark is that the inventions within the patent are independent or distinct for one another, similar to the fibromyalgia patent.
