Haven't changed expectation starting big PCI bizz
Still feel we may start service with a big fish err whale of a company, perhaps beginning of May. Feel it will get done at anytime. No inside info here. Could have started last Sept or October.
Here is the deal:
ACS has worked almost 3 year setting things up, making significant investments to be ready to implement Keystroke encryption for first data's 7 to 8 mil merchant services clients, From Kays tweet in August 2018 we had an expectation of starting Sept or Oct of 2018 , however the buyout of First Data by Fiserv last fall to everyone's caught everyone by surprise, unexpectedly delaying the implementation of the program. On the other hand however it could also be a big opportunity to get additional business with Fiservs 6 mil merchants service clients. 13 mil merchant service clients would not be a bad gig and payoff for the delay.
But since the buyout has been completed, First Data has implemented security measures with Transarmor authentication in the point of sale end in jan/feb, 2019 , we are providing the encryption end of things and I am thinking /hoping/ wishing , not praying, God doesn't do stocks lol That finally we start the beginning of May. 1st of the month is always a good place to start, or perhaps sometime there in. Obviously a huge development when it happens.
Again no inside info. Just past DD we know through ACS email First Data and BofA are clients of ACS.
I will be watching and doing Googles searches for PRs from ACS, SFOR, FirstData, BofA merchant services.
Here a thought could we be surprised by DSS starting business with an English speaking company? No special language needed for that! DSS is in beast mode. Would not surprise me at all. !DSS's Mr Chan hashuger connections.
