One thing about the trial results I keep reminding myself, the fda is not interested in market size, the drug does not need to be better than the competition and it does not need to be all that effective. Plenty of drugs are approved that are almost as bad as the disease they treat. This drug can be injected in a perfectly healthy person with no problems, it can be injected into a person with a completely different disease than what it is approved for with no worries. Fda approval is as close to certain as it can be. We just need to keep moving forward.
As for the finances of this company, it is so pathetic that the share price is suffering so much, but in reality the total cost to develop this to an fda approved drug on the market is very cheap. I don’t understand the market in this situation at all, but I do understand the need for this drug. We are getting close to where looking back at this phase will be a distant memory. How can mgmt screw this up? I don’t think any BP, patient or doctor will will care about how mgmt got this done.
