because what was done yesterday and again earlier today
*imo* was what i refer to as *targeted* trades .. these are done
between *colluding* entities .. it is also totally *legal* per Finra
X entity seemingly using NITE on bid sucked up *volume* .. tho' many of
those trades appear to be *washed*
there are only 3 MMs that matter re: IPIX for the last several years (tho' any
MM can be hired to camouflage) .. CDEL/ETRF/NITE
i have an expression that NR (non retail) is begging for *ask* hits on IPIX
it is far easier for NR to *reset* those ask hits vs trying to *fill* @ bid
it is also not unusual for a retail investor's bid to be filled in 2 or 3 tranches
which is why it's always so *interesting* to see 70000 or 100000 go *off* in one *trade*
imo those 2 or 3 *fills* re: a retail investor's bid .. means *accounting* is being spread between 3 MMs for the month .. because actual *activity* done during the month is reported to Finra (MM Monthly) .. it's worth learning *imo* who matters and who is a decoy
link below to Finra's site imo is worth bookmarking ..

almost every aspect reported re: U.S. equities is *dated* data

A question for more experienced traders. As a very amateur trader, I’m having an issue understating why an order I placed today has not gone through. 400K+ shares sold in the first half hour of trading all between .115-.118.
My order for 10K put in around 10:15 at .117 not AON will not get anything. It went down to .115 during that time. Is this just bad luck/timing, is E*TRADE trying to skim, or something else?
Thanks
