Off Topic, apologies, no hard feelings when mods delete as you see fit. Meanwhile, please only reply via Private Messaging - and I'm grateful to anyone who does PM - thanks!! Sorry to spam this board with this OT question. I am looking for quick advice on connecting to a "Skype For Business" video conference via normal Skype. And Microsoft's website and my internet searches show a surprisingly confusing amount of info about that process. Actually, I'm really surprised that MS has made skyping this messy. Good job, Microsoft.

My Question: I use regular Skype, what "Skype For Business" App or Client or whatever can I download and install to be able to connect to this company that uses "Skype For Business"? And does my browser matter - am I supposed to download the file using Microsoft's Internet Explorer?

My issue in more detail: I am expected to "attend" a video conference (with a company that is unable to give me any technical support on this, btw) and the company uses a different version of Skype than I do. I will call them BigWidgets!.
- BigWidgets!, uses "Skype For Business" and has already sent me the meeting invitation link that I will need to click on in order to attend.
- I have plain vanilla old "Skype."
- I have Windows 7 Pro, Microsoft Office 2010, plenty of RAM etc.
- I prefer using Google's Chrome browser although I do have Microsoft's Explorer browser installed as well.

Thanks to anyone for your help! And GO VERB!!!
