I wrote this over the weekend and decided originally not to post it as it is a bit hokey, but saved it as it rings true to me. It is a bit outdated but decided to share as the same message holds true:
After participating in the bell ringing celebration, I had a revelation that completely made me re-think my investment strategy with Verb, and is why I am so enthralled to learn how absolutely brilliant it was of me to invest here before I truly understood (yeah right, completely dumb luck on my part). It is only my opinion based on my own DD and LISTENING. Some may read it and say "No Duh", I already knew that. If so, many congrats to you for being ahead of the game, or at least ahead of me. But for me, it was an aha moment as I was so stressed over current pps, and Q1 numbers, and 8K’s and underwriters. No longer!
IN MY OPINION, I believe the ultimate goal of Verb is to get our technology into every medium everywhere someone can watch video, and I am sure even some places we can't fathom as of yet. As the supporting technology to deliver video becomes cheaper, easier to use, more robust, video will be everywhere, and thus, some form of Tagg will be everywhere. Pretty lofty goals no doubt.
So, if I am correct that this is the end goal, how do we get there? After meeting many members of Team Verb, and hearing who they are as beings, their passions, their geniuses, their families, their work-life balance, and yes, their failures, I have become more convinced than ever they may come as close to reaching that unreachable target as any other company possibly could. They will find a way. In other words, if you have never met Rory, Jeff, Denise, Jim, Chad, Dennis, Tal, and the other folks you need to find a way to do so. Team Verb is the absolute key and I now sleep very well knowing they are on my side. I have probably never met a more driven and passionate group of people working towards a common goal. Ask anyone who has ever met or talked with any of them and I truly believe they will say something very similar. I was blown away!
Now, after reading and understanding the above paragraphs, IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS, please tell me how important Q1 numbers are for Verb. Please tell me how the number of TaggCRM downloads matters. Please tell me how the fact that we haven't gotten a PR about the SC closing matters (we have since gotten the PR & 8K, but left it in here since the fact that we just received the PR & 8K helps further prove my point). Please tell me how the pps at $2.40 is indicative of trouble, or any of the other things I have heard people worrying about.
You see, once you see the end goal, and realize we have the horses to get us there, the rest is minutiae. Very enlightening to me and hopefully helpful to others. And quite possibly why I witnessed Team Verb celebrating throughout the day as their stock was hitting new recent lows the very time the bell was ringing, and why I have slept very well every night since.
