You are accurate. However, you have to ask yourself, why would SFOR agree to a dismissal with prejudice? We know they are willing to fight the SA lawsuit all the way to the SCOTUS. Why let Vasco off the hook for the same infringement? The Vasco lawsuit was stayed, meaning SFOR and their attorneys were not necessarily devoting any resources (time or money) to it, so why all of the sudden drop the lawsuit entirely without anything to show for it?
I would offer this possibility; Vasco sees the writing on the wall and wants to make sure they are not one of the companies that has to pay treble damages once Alice is straightened out by either Congress or the Courts.
Or, they simply just came to some agreement surrounding a license agreement and there is nothing more to do except watch for it in the next SEC filing.
Either way, the outcome should be in the next 10Q.
