I believe we are closer than ever to news, and here is just a little reminder of what may be in store for us.
Remember what Whole Foods CEO John Mackey said about his Austin-based chain: “If cannabis is ever passed in Texas, chances are good that grocery stores will be selling that, too.” Well folks, Texas is falling.
And once Whole Food begins offering cannabis-based products in its stores, other national chains will certainly follow suit. There is just too much money at stake for Texas to continue dragging its feet. Also, pay close attention to the South. When Southern folk proclaim the South will rise again, you better that it seriously. Kentucky may very well be the epicenter of the hemp industry, and one by one Southern states are moving in the legalization direction. The time has come, and it is just the right thing to do.
